The Vision and Backstory
Hello! I am Furqaan Khazi. I have been working actively in the SEO field for the last 7 years, specializing in technical SEO among all its sub-fields.
I chose to focus on technical SEO because early in my career, I noticed that the vast majority of website issues causing zero ranking growth or zero conversions were ultimately technical. I have seen even enterprise-level giants and major brand websites approach me with complex issues, and the underlying fault was almost always a technical error. This realization inspired me to specialize deeply in technical SEO, while actively remaining engaged in other aspects of search optimization.
While industry elements like Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and LLMO have arrived, the path to these modern elements still passes through traditional SEO first—Technical SEO, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO. That settles the truth that technical SEO is crucial. During my years of reviewing clients' websites, I frequently faced a hurdle that consumed most of my time in the initial auditing stage when I was not using expensive paid tools: manually checking client websites for no-index signals.
While excellent search tool options exist in the market, the manual work required to copy and paste URLs one by one was a massive hurdle for fast analysis. Now, years later, seeing that there was still no free tool to solve this bottleneck for small to medium business owners and independent SEO handlers, I decided to build Signal Index.
Signal Index is fully automated, requires no sign-ups, and is completely free.
